Welcome to Northern Bear Rottweilers.
My Name is Francine Gaynor. I have been learning about Rottweilers since 1984.  I have owned one since 1988. Also at that time I began a career in Obedience training and  I have been training professionally since . After realizing what an unbelievably unique breed  the Rottweiler is, I began an interest in preserving this wonderful breed. 

I was blessed with sharing my life with an irreplaceable dog named simply "Zeke".  Zeke was the beginning for many new changes for me, as well  as Northern Bear. He was a rescue. Abused as a very young puppy, he started his life with no reason to trust or love but he did  just that and more!  Zeke was my friend, my companion, my protector, and my partner for a wonderful 12 years. He is now and forever missed.

In 1994 I purchased my very own show dog named "Orion".  Orion was with us for a wonderful 14 years! He began the first litter for Northern Bear Rottweilers. After several early tries that were not successful we Finally got a litter on the ground in 1998. That began our Journey into purebred dogs.

We have yet to hit the ground because we are still flying high with every title, Champion and wonderful therapy dog that goes into the world and brightens the lives of a family the way our beloved Zeke did us.
